Last night I watched the first presidential debate. I am worried that our country has enough people who support someone who rants and raves and spouts false information that there is a race. Forty-two percent is a lot of people. How could it not matter that a person running for president supports white supremacist groups. How can it not matter that the current president calls out Proud Boys to be ready if the president is not reelected. We are in a world of hurt as a nation.

We just watched 90 minutes of a bully. We saw how hard it was for both the moderator and Biden to not react. The presidents extreme behavior made it hard for any normal behavior to go on around him. Maybe the video of this debate can be a training tool to help those bullied on the playground to learn how to respond to a person who is mean and disrespectful. Biden did well but he showed that it is hard when someone keeps poking you to not “Go low” I hope we can all learn to “Go high”. even with this extreme provocation.
